At El Regato Ikastetxea, we have launched a new Peer Mediation Programme, aiming to build a school environment rooted in positive relationships, active participation and mutual respect.
The goal is to equip students with the skills they need to manage conflicts in a constructive and peaceful way, while developing key competences such as active listening, emotional expression and collaborative problem-solving.
At El Regato School, we continue to make strong strides on the path to fostering meaningful, deep, and personalized learning for our students. Within our ongoing commitment to improvement, at the start of this school year, our teachers have received training based on formative assessment, a key perspective for comprehensive learning.
On September 2nd and 3rd, 30 teachers from all educational stages received intensive training from the renowned educational advisor Mariana Morales. Morales is the author of several books on formative assessment, and her experience and approach gave our teachers the opportunity to acquire practical tools that can be immediately applied in the classroom.
At El Regato Ikastetxea, we have welcomed a new school year full of excitement, reunions, and new challenges. Today, our classrooms have come alive again with the arrival of our students, who have returned eager to learn, share, and continue growing together.
This start of the academic year is particularly exciting, as we are opening new classrooms in the primary school, spaces designed to promote learning, creativity, and the well-being of our students. A renovated environment that reflects our commitment to quality, innovative, and accessible education.
