At Colegio El Regato Ikastetxea, we understand that education goes far beyond academic content. That is why we actively work on the prevention of school bullying, promoting empathy, respect, and shared responsibility from the earliest educational stages.

Our 3rd Grade Primary students took part in an activity organized by the Department of Cohesion and Diversity Management of Barakaldo City Council. The initiative aimed to help students reflect on what bullying is and how it affects everyone within the educational community.

Through videos and highly visual dynamics, students understood that bullying is not just an individual issue, but a collective one. The “red backpack” activity helped them visualize the emotional weight carried by those who suffer from bullying, fostering empathy and awareness.

In addition, through a tug-of-war activity, they discovered that when the group stands together and supports one another, bullying loses its strength. Prevention is not only the responsibility of those directly involved, but of the entire community.

The session concluded with a clear and powerful message: “TXIBATO EZ, LAGUNA BAI”

A motto that reflects our daily commitment: not to point fingers, but to support, accompany, and care for one another.
